In The Beginning ...

I have been interested in quizzing for quite some time now. It has always been a hobby which has given me much enjoyment in my leisure hours, though very occasionally profitable (I won $4000 once on 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire').

I am interested in a wide range of quizzes, from the standard British pub quizzes to the American College-Bowl type of questions. My shelves are lined with quiz books and I even have quizzing podcasts on my iPod.

From reading and trying out quizzes, I have gone on to set them and try them on my colleagues and friends. It came as a surprise to me that the enjoyment I derived from setting quizzes was even greater, especially when my quizzes were well-received.

I'm not too sure what I want to do with this blog, to be honest. There will probably be an ongoing continuous quiz, interspersed with some quizzing tidbits or pieces of information/ trivia which I find interesting. Let's see where this journey takes us, and I hope you stay along for the ride.
